The UN Secretariat in Cyprus from Europe region had released this tender for 1. The United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) will shortly conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the sale (not purchase) of the following written-off UN assets, on an "as-is-where-is" basis.
a) Toyota Prado (Quantity: 3)
b) Toyota Hilux, DC Pickup (Quantity: 1)
Note: The successful bidders must fulfill Government of Cyprus requirements regarding the payment of customs duties, VAT, Excise Duty and other applicable fees. A non mandatory Site Visit will be a part of the solicitation exercise in Nicosia, Cyprus in order for vendors to inspect the assets.
2. In this regard UNFICYP would like to identify buyers who would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Potential buyers are requested to express their interest by submitting the Vendor Response Form of this EOI electronically (through the link provided below) before the closing date above.
3. UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process.
4.The UNGM registration is mandatory for responding to this EOI. Information on the prerequisites for Basic registration can be found at https://help.ungm.org/hc/en-us/articles/360012815920-How-tocomplete-the-registration-form-at-the-Basic-level-.
