Supply and Delivery of Fire Fighting and Safety Equipment to UNFICYP

The requirement includes, but is not limited to the following: - mobile firefighting unit; - aluminium alloy foldaway stretchers; - fire extinguishers of various types [water (9lt), foam (9 and 90 lt), CO2 (2kg), dry powder (9 and 50kg)], - portable-refillable water extinguisher/back pumps (19lt); - fire extinguisers' stands; - fire fighting foam liquid; - firemen air crash fire fighting units; - fuel spill absorbent; - various firefighting equipment including personal protection clothing. 3. The requirement is on “as and when required” basis. The resulting contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with the UNFICYP’s sole option to extend the term of the contract for an additional two (2) periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1). 4. In this regard, UNFICYP would like to identify vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive solicitation exercise. Qualified vendors are requested to express their interest by providing all relevant information using the attached Vendor Response Form, also available on our website www.unficyp.org. The interest should be sent to the attention of Ms. Toulla Panayiotou, Procurement Assistant, either via fax +357-22-614493 or via email unficyp-procurement@un.org no later than Wednesday, 29 November 2023. 5. The UNFICYP reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant participation in the competitive bidding exercise. The UNFICYP reserves the right to change or cancel any of these requirements at any time during the EOI and/or the solicitation process..
