Brno, Fryčajova – reconstruction of the water pipe

The Statutory city of Brno in Czech Republic from Europe region has released this tender for The subject of the public contract is the reconstruction of the sewerage and water supply system with the subsequent renewal of the communication areas in Fryčajova Street. The sewerage system will be reconstructed in profiles DN 300, DN 500, DN 600, DN 500/750, DN 600/900, DN 700/1050 and DN 800/1200. The total length of the reconstructed sewerage system is 1426.5 m. Sewerage connections will be reconstructed in 189 pieces and in a total length of 1982.45 m. Water supply lines will be reconstructed in profiles DN 80, DN 100, DN 150 and DN 250 in a total length of 1668.70 m. Water supply connections will be reconstructed in 161 pieces and in a total length of 1725.2 m. The construction also includes the relocation of the I. Březovský water supply in the profile DN 600 with a length of 248.0 m. Furthermore, the reconstruction of the VO will be carried out within the scope of the construction of the reconstruction of the sewerage and water supply system and the relocation of Vodafone and CETIN cables. After the work on the underground networks, the reconstruction of the road and sidewalks will be carried out, including the drainage of the road. The work on Fryčajova Street will be carried out in individual, consecutive stages. Each stage of construction will begin with the construction of a replacement drinking water supply, followed by the reconstruction of the sewerage, water supply and gas, including all connections to individual properties during the current reconstruction of the public utilities and the relocation of communication cables. After all reconstructions have been completed, the road will be renovated. Sewerage: In Fryčajova Street, from the intersection with Břehovová Street to the end of Fryčajova Street, the reconstruction of the sewerage will be carried out in an open excavation with a total length of 1426.5 m, including the connection to side streets. Concrete pipes with basalt lining of the DN 800/1200 profile with a length of 146 m, the DN 700/1050 profile with a length of 676.3 m, the DN 600/900 profile with a length of 116.6 m and the DN 500/750 profile with a length of 94.1 m will be used. Furthermore, earthenware sewer pipes of the DN 300 profile with a length of 98.1 m, DN 500 profile with a length of 251.1 m (in January 2024, the original DN 400 profile with a length of 236.08 m was changed to the DN 500 profile) and DN 600 profile with a length of 44.5 m will be used. Sewer connections: All house connections connected to the existing street sewer will be reconstructed, incl. storm drains, a total of 189 sewer connections will be made with a total length of 1853.20 m. Sewer connections will be made of concreted stoneware with profiles DN 150 and DN 200. Water supply lines: In Fryčajova Street, the reconstruction of the main water supply line will be carried out in an open excavation, including the connection to side streets. Ductile iron water pipes with an internal lining of profile DN 80 with a length of 175.27 m, DN 100 with a length of 984.36 m, profile DN 150 with a length of 358.07 m and profile DN 250 with a length of 151 m will be used. Water supply connections: The existing water supply connections will be reconstructed in a number of 161 pieces and a total length of 1725.2 m. Water supply connections will be made of HDPE d32 - d63 material. Relocation of the I. Březovský water main: The relocation of the I. Březovský water main will be made of ductile iron with a cement lining DN 600 (in the section from the end of Fryčajova Street to the property at Fryčajova 168) and will be 248 m long.During the works on the water main, the replacement water supply will be ensured by means of a temporary water main made of steel pipe with a DN 400 profile and a length of 255 m. Communication: After the works on the sewerage and water main, the road, sidewalks and drainage of paved areas in the entire street area will be reconstructed. The total length of the renovation is 1,316.2 m. The actual road of Fryčajova Street (through section of road II/374) is designed as a two-way two-lane road in places with a parking lane and sidewalks on both sides. The basic width of the road between the curbs is 7.00 m, in the section from km 0.250 to km 0.320 the width between the curbs is 6.50 m. The above arrangement is forced by the cramped width conditions and allows for the maintenance of a minimum width of 1.50 m on both sides of the sidewalk. The basic transverse slope of the road is 2.5% roof-like, in directional curves then 2.5% one-sided central according to the spatial possibilities. Sidewalks have a transverse slope of max. 2%. Parking spaces have a basic transverse slope of 0.5-2%. Drainage will be ensured by newly designed street drains, connected to the sewerage system by DN150 connections made of concreted stoneware. Relocation of public utilities and communication cables: The construction will also involve the relocation of communication cables and public lighting (cables and poles). A total of 40 new poles will be constructed and 11 lighting poles will have their luminaires replaced with discharge luminaires. As part of the communication cables, 6 Vodafone and Cetin cable relocations will be carried out with a total length of 250 m. The construction also includes felling and simultaneously new planting of trees and overall landscaping of areas intended for grassing. As part of the green planting, 32 trees will be planted and there will be a park lawn on an area of ​​4,556.2 m2.
