Součástí projektu je obnova aktivních prvků včetně obnovy prvků hlasové sítě, segmentace síťového provozu, zavedení dynamického řízení sítě v modernizované části sítě, zavedení procesu a nástrojů pro hodnocení kvality sítě a ověření funkční architektury prvků AAA (Autentizace, Autorizace, Accounting) v testovacím rozsahu. Součástí projektu je dále rozšíření nástroje pro centrální správu identit (IDM, AD) a jeho integrace do informačního prostředí MV ČR (Ekonomický informační systém, EKIS) a vyčlenění některých služeb SIP (Sjednocené informační prostředí) pro vybrané uživatele MV ČR do samostatného prostředí.
