The subject of the public contract is the contractor s obligation to carry out construction work for the client consisting mainly of the repair and restoration of the supporting pillar No II of the Gothic part of the cathedral with the relevant arches The contractor will gently clean the surface of the stone using a dry method cleaning with pressurized water incl manual cleaning with soft brushes and sponges desalination of the stone surface with pulp wraps cleaning of structures from pigeon droppings removal of damaged joint fillings and their replacement with new mortar fillings or with lead at particularly stressed joints strengthening of weathered and otherwise disturbed sandstone removal of older life-long restorations seals and sealants grouting and injection of cracks modeling of missing parts of the surface or defects in profiles with lime-based sealant or stone inserts retouching of local repairs replacement of unrepairable stone parts with replicas made of natural sandstone will also carry out the restoration of sculptural elements especially consoles and gargoyles revision repair and addition of plumbing elements inspection and repair of lightning conductors cutting and restoration of the surface treatment of metal elements inspection of downpipes for water drainage incl inspection of anchor elements restoration work on parts of the tracery of the windows adjacent to the pillar or on parts of the tracery railings swags and paneling performs protective canopies over medieval sculptures and corners of the supports hydrophobization of incriminated places of horizontal and vertical surfaces disposal of greenery algae and mosses biocidal treatment plating of elements with lead ensures the production of castings of stone markers and medium and large architectural elements on the walls creation and installation of copies of decorative elements pennants Gothic flowers and violets revision and treatment of window braces and rods inspection of stained glass glazing and possible repair etc The work will take place on the south side of the exterior of the Cathedral of St Welcome to Prague Castle and are specified further in the Call the Tender documentation and its annexes nThe inspection of the performance site will take place on Wednesday 11 03 2026 at 9 00 a m The meeting of participants will be on III courtyard of Prague Castle - on the south side of St Vita between the Old Royal Palace and the Cathedral 45262510-9 Stoneworks Capital Prague 45262510-9 Stoneworks Stoneworks
