Na konci úseku, který je v km 38,500, na stavbu navazuje úsek D35 3505Vysoké Mýto – Džbánov, na jehož začátku je navržena MÚK Vysoké Mýto – západ.Trasa úseku od napojení na předchozí úsek severně od obce Ostrov vede mezi polivýchodním směrem a severně od obce Stradouň kříží stávající silnice III/30520 anásledně II/305, pak severně od obce Vraclav přichází k vrchu Homole, kde křížístávající silnici III/30517 a vrch podchází tunelem.
