The OROMIA URBAN DEVELOPMENT & HOUSING BUREAU in Ethiopia from African region had released this tender for Tenders are invited for Construction of the G+4 Administration Building and Related Works A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application indicating the project, VAT registration certificate, renewed certificate of competence from the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, or renewed registration certificate from Oromia Construction Authority, renewed trade license, renewed trade registration certificate, valid tax clearance during the period of bid validity and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500.00 (Five hundred birr) for each Lot only in cash starting from the first date notice viewed on the newspaper during office hours through Monday to Friday. One bidder can participate in two Lots but is awarded only one if wins the bid Bids must be delivered to the address stated below before 10:00 a.m. (4:00 a.m. local time) on the 31st day starting from the official announcement of the bid in the newspaper. The bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 500,000 (Five hundred thousand birr) for each lot. The Bid security shall be payable on first written demand to the employer and must be a Certified Payment Order (CPO) or Unconditional Bank Guarantee. Late bids will be rejected. The outer sealed envelope contains one original and two copies of the financial document each separately sealed and the Original Technical document with two copies separately sealed along with the bid security all originals and copies must be put in one outer mother envelope as indicated in the bidding document and hand-delivered to Oromia Urban Development and Housing Bureau.
