. Qualification and Experience
The consultant is expected to fit the following profile:
• MA (or equivalent) in Political Science, Law, International Relations, Peace and Conflict
Studies, or similar field;
• Experience in conducting policy research and developing policy documents;
• Extensive knowledge of African Peace Support Operations (AU PSOs), their legal and
operational structure and their respective coordination mechanisms with the African
Union; specific knowledge of AU mandated and authorized operations, such as
AMISOM, MNJTF is an asset;
• Excellent spoken and written command of at least one of the AU Languages
The consultant will be selected under the Fixed Budget selection method where the Consultant who has submitted the highest ranked technical proposal within the set pass mark and within the budget will be selected for award of contract.
