The ENGINEERING PROCUREMENT DIRECTORATE in Ethiopia from African region had released this tender for Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of Ethiopian Integrated Transport Program Phase 1: Jimma Chida and Sodo – Sawla Roads upgrading project; Lot 3: Remaining works of Dinke – Sawla – Shifte (74+500 – 150+477) The services included under this project are furnishing complete engineering services in all respect of monitoring the construction works of the proposed road Project, including all field & office works in strict accordance with the highest standards of the civil engineering profession as well as with proper interpretation of the duties & responsibilities of the Engineer so that the projects are delivered in high quality, at budget, on time and achieve user’s satisfaction and the Bank’s standards. The envisaged Consultancy Services will be conducted over a period of 54 months which includes 30 months of Construction period and additional 24 months for the Defects Liability Period. Furthermore, the service includes the deployment of several key and support staffs to the project site. The Ethiopian Roads Administration now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute jointventures to enhance their chances of qualification. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
