Tenders are invited for Consulting Services for Tracer Study for Firms Selection. The primary objective of this tracer survey is to measure the relevance of Kombolcha polytechnic college training programs and the number of graduated trainees who have been employed or unemployed in their fields of training and self-employed, as well as to assess their skill gaps for further training and currículum review and new curriculum design. The Specific objectives of the assignment To provide adequate information on the where about and skill adequacy and employability of TVET graduates To learn how effective and efficient training centers are in meeting their objectives of creating a qualified skilled labor force To learn the entrepreneurial attitudes among graduates for self-employment To assess the skills gap and training needs of the TVET graduates To identify changes in the labor market demand. To know the number of trainees finding employment in the occupations they had been trained in. To asses why unemployed trainee graduates could not able to find employment in the labor market SCOPE OF WORK: the consultant will be required to do the following basic pre, and post activities including the others Design the whole survey procedures with the college management and PIU staff, and present Upon signing the contract produce an inception report detailing the research design (including, research questions, data collection methods, sampling method, data collection tools, and data analysis plan) in close consultation with PIU, and the college management. Review and comment on the survey instruments, format the questionnaires Recruit and train the enumerators for the pilot test and main survey phone interviews. Develop survey manuals (including phone interview protocol), and others based on the objective of the study Prepare and submit a survey completion report to the client, which describes (1) the final sample size (indicate non-traceable respondents), (ii) how the survey was implemented, (iii) issues with implementation, including logistical problems, response rates, etc. Bid closing date: No later than 10 days of this advertisement Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: Amhara
