Supply and Installation of MSU

The UN Secretariat in Ethiopia from African region had released this tender for Objective of the project This project is looking forward to making the security checkpoint or gate 2 on the eastern side of the UNECA compound a safe, UV protected and waterproofed area for the security officers to work in full capacity. The project envisions removing the four independent canopies and installing MSU which is one, UV stabilized and waterproofed. On the other hand, make additional mobile storage units available whenever additional storages are required Scope of this project - The Entrance at gate 2 is a high traffic area hence the project schedule will be precise and limited to a couple of days. - The existing canopy frame, fabric and PVC cover located at the entrance gate 2 shall be removed and handed over to the client for storage. - While removing the frame of the canopies located at entrance gate 2 there will be demolition works for those pillars which are anchored in concrete pads. And the area should be cleared and cleaned thoroughly to make ready for the MSU which will be erected. - The MSU which should be installed at the gate should fit the area perfectly and accommodate 3 vehicles side by side at the same time for security checkups and allow 3 movement for security personnel between the vehicles to perform security checkups in a sufficient manner. - The MSU at the gate should be complementary to the billboard, which is adjacent to it, and follow or be parallel to the billboard. - The other two MSU’s that will function as storage should be installed on the selected locations by the client’s representative (FMS) and based on the requirement the client’s representative (FMS) may request to minimize the size and/ or locate the remaining size on another location separately. the details of specification will be sent along with the ITB document. with tender notice no.
