The procurement is divided into five (5) sub-areas as follows: Sub-area 1) Vacuum cleaners and pressure washers Sub-area 2) Washing machines and dryers intended for washing cleaning textiles Sub-area 3) Combination machines Sub-area 4) Robot vacuum cleaners Sub-area 5) Maintenance and repair services for cleaning machines The subject of the procurement of sub-areas 1-4 are cleaning machines suitable for professional use in the cleaning sector, delivered in accordance with the TOP Finnterms 2001 condition to the customers' delivery locations in the South Karelia region. The aim of the procurement of cleaning machines is to obtain machines suitable for professional use, of high quality and delivered with good operational reliability and service. The cleaning machines must comply with the directly binding regulations of the European Union, Finnish laws and regulations and the regulations issued by the authorities, for example in terms of structure, equipment, occupational and fire safety and electrical safety. The subject of the procurement in sub-area 5 is the provision of maintenance and repair services for machines used in institutional cleaning (vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, combination machines and floor care machines) to clients in the South Karelia region. Maintenance and repair services are mainly carried out on weekdays between 7:00 and 16:00. Repair service means repair work ordered separately by the client related to the functionality or operating condition of the machines. Maintenance service means maintenance measures for machines, such as annual maintenance or periodic maintenance recommended by the manufacturer and carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The maintenance and repair service to be procured in sub-area 5 does not include warranty maintenance and repair services for cleaning machines. One (1) contract supplier will be selected for the framework agreement for sub-areas 1, 2 and 4. Two (2) contract suppliers will be selected for the framework agreement for sub-areas 3 and 5 unless there are fewer acceptable suppliers. The tenderer may submit a tender for one or more sub-areas. Partial offers within sub-areas are not accepted. The aim is to start the actual contract period as soon as possible after the procurement decision has become legally binding. The actual contract period is 24 months. The purchasing unit also reserves the option to extend the contracts with two one-year (12-month) option periods (1+1), if it wishes.
