HUS 028-2026 Hand sanitizers

The HUS Association in Finland from Europe region has released this tender for HUS Group invites bids for ethanol-based hand sanitizers. The products are described in more detail below in the call for tenders and in Appendix 1 to the call for tenders, Product Appendix. This is a comprehensive procurement, i.e. the procurement has not been divided into parts. Three contract suppliers will be selected. An electronic auction will be used to implement the procurement. During the contract period, products belonging to the product groups subject to the contract that are not specified in the product appendix (see draft contract) may also be purchased, in accordance with the estimated value of the procurement. The contract period is 2 years, after which the contracts will continue to be valid until further notice. The prices are fixed for the actual contract period (2 years). This is a joint procurement by several procurement units, which will be implemented as a procurement ring. The products requested in this call for tender will be used by: HUS Group (HUS), South Karelia Welfare Area, Kymenlaakso Welfare Area, Päijät-Häme Welfare Area, City of Helsinki, Eastern Uusimaa Welfare Area, Central Uusimaa Welfare Area, Vantaa and Kerava Welfare Area, Western Uusimaa Welfare Area and the Finnish Defence Forces. At the time of publication of the call for tender, HUS estimated, based on its purchasing history, that the total procurement value of the procurement, calculated over 4 years, would be approximately 2.1-2.4 million euros, VAT 0%, including all procurement units involved in the procurement. This is an estimate, and the procurement unit is not committed to the stated euro amounts and the actual consumption amounts stated in the call for tender. The final order quantities may be larger or smaller than stated. Most of the products are so-called Flow-through products ordered from the HUS ordering system are delivered to the HUS central warehouse on Uutistitie in Vantaa, and are distributed via the HUS central warehouse to the offices of HUS, Kymenlaakso, the City of Helsinki, Central Uusimaa, Vantaa and Kerava, Eastern Uusimaa and the Defence Forces. The welfare regions of Päijät-Häme, South Karelia and Western Uusimaa place their orders from their own ordering system, and the products are also delivered to the delivery addresses they have provided. HUS estimates that approximately 23% of the total value of the procurement reported above is orders from the welfare regions of Päijät-Häme, South Karelia or Western Uusimaa (non-binding estimate).
