With this market mapping, VTT is looking for service providers for the maintenance of the research and development infrastructure for automated vehicles and for tasks supporting the manufacturing, installation, electrical systems and measurements of vehicles. Research activities require knowledge of automotive and vehicle technology, mastery of the operating principles of sensors, systematic measurement skills with modern tools and a driving license for a motorcycle, passenger car, truck and bus. The activities also require experience in using machine tools and the ability to build fasteners and actuators for vehicles. The tasks require creativity in building prototypes without ready-made drawings or wiring diagrams, directly utilizing the data sheets of the components. In addition, research is carried out in water transport, so a qualification that entitles you to drive a registered boat is necessary. Object of the procurement: The object of the procurement described in the request for information is the construction, machining and installation of prototypes of components related to automated vehicles in vehicles. In addition, the service includes assisting with measurements and taking care of measurement arrangements in the Muonio, Kittilä and Kolari areas, among others. Key requirements are the qualification to make electrical connections in electric vehicles as well as the maintenance, servicing, safe operation and inspections of vehicle fleets. TUKES S2 or equivalent and electrical safety card SFS 6002 (automotive sector) b) knows the special tools of automatic vehicles, such as reading CAN data c) is able to assist with measurements and provide warm vehicle installation, maintenance and repair facilities included in the contract price during the winter season in the Kittilä-Muonio area. d) railway safety permits e) valid driving licenses: A, B, C+E and D and a valid driver's professional qualification in accordance with the Professional Qualifications Act (C or CE category, code 95) f) qualification required to drive a registered boat - coastal boatman course g) welding skills, turning and experience using heavy metalworking machines h) qualifications required in the laboratory and field measurements: SPR emergency first aid, road safety I, occupational safety card The service package includes the production of services in accordance with the information request as an independent work and the construction and connection of equipment using VTT tools, maintenance of the laboratory environment,procurement of supplies and ensuring the safety of cranes, and in addition, arranging annual rescue safety evacuation exercises. The person providing the service must be prepared to travel domestically and abroad, including possible periods of work in foreign weather chambers (VTT will reimburse travel expenses separately).
