The Servica Oy in Finland from Europe region has released this tender for REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / FORMALINS AND OTHER FIXATIVES NOTE! THIS IS NOT A PROCUREMENT NOTICE OR REQUEST FOR TENDER BUT A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION TO POTENTIAL BIDDER: FORMALINS AND OTHER FIXATIVES Servica Oy, in cooperation with the North Savo Welfare Region and the ISLAB Welfare Association, is preparing a competition for Formalins and other fixatives. Subject and purpose of the request for information The purpose of the request for information is to map the suppliers on the market and their product range, and to obtain comprehensive information about them, so that the competition being prepared can be implemented as effectively as possible. Responding to the request for information is not a prerequisite for participating in the competition and does not affect the position of the bidder in it. The information presented in the request for information is preliminary and may change as the preparation of the procurement progresses. The request for information does not oblige the purchasing entity to carry out the actual procurement or to implement the procurement in the manner described in the request for information, and the purchasing entity is not obliged to take into account the responses received to the request for information when preparing the invitation to tender. The responses provided by suppliers will be treated confidentially. The procurement includes fixatives used in clinical pathology and the laboratory and its preliminary breakdown is: 1. Formalin and fixative canisters 5 l 1.1. Formalin canister 5 L 1.2. EDTA-FORMALIN 5 L 1.3. GEWF SOLUTION 5 L 2. Formalin jars 2.1. Formalin jar 50-70 ml jar/25-35 ml formalin 2.2. Formalin jar 15-20 ml jar/7-10 ml formalin 3. FORMALIN CONTAINER (800L) filling service Suppliers interested in the procurement are asked to: 1) inform the procurement unit whether they have the products described in the request for information to offer 2) send product information and possibly an electronic user manual and a product brochure for the product. Responses to the request for information will be sent by email to:hankinnat@servica.fi by 21 October 2026. The message field of the notice of participation must contain the words “Request for information Formalins and other fixatives” and the name of the company. If necessary, the procurement unit may also send additional clarifying questions to the tenderers who responded to the request for information, an invitation to a market dialogue and more detailed materials as the preparation of the request for tender progresses.
