Turvallisuusluokkaan III ’luottamuksellinen’ kuuluvien toimeksiantojen toteuttaminen edellyttää yritysturvallisuusselvitystodistusta toimeksiannon turvallisuusluokan mukaisesti. Palveluntuottajalta edellytetään voimassa oleva yritysturvallisuuselvitystodistus, Facility Security Clearance (FSC), jonka on myöntänyt oman kotivaltion kansallinen turvallisuusviranomainen. Ulkomaisen toimijan kyseessä ollessa Suomella tulee olla tämän lisäksi voimassa oleva turvallisuussopimus (General Security Agreement) toimijan kotivaltion kanssa. TLIII kuuluvia aineistoja ei saa viedä ulos Suomesta ilman lupaa. Tilaaja solmii palveluntoimittajan kanssa turvallisuussopimuksen. Aluskalustolle osoitettavat mittausalueet ovat saaristoisia sekä avomerialueita vaihdellen syvyyssuhteiltaan 2,5 m – n. 200 m. Hankinnan arvo vaihtelee vuosittain kulloinkin käytössä olevien määrärahojen mukaisesti.
