The City of Alajärvi in Finland from Europe region has released this tender for The City of Alajärvi is inviting tenders for the design and construction of a 25-bed residential service unit for people with intellectual disabilities as a turnkey construction contract (KVR contract). The site is located at Lääkärintie 5b, Alajärvi. The building will house: 25 resident rooms, the size of which is approximately 22 m²/apartment, including a private toilet and washroom, shared living, dining and activity areas, staff work and social areas, a medicine room, maintenance, storage and technical facilities, sauna, washing and wellness areas, courtyard areas and outdoor living areas. The building will be designed for 24-hour residential service use. The solutions must take particular account of accessibility, safety, the individual needs of residents, the ability to monitor operations, comfort and the working conditions of staff. The construction site is located at Lääkärintie 5b, Alajärvi. The building will be connected to an existing operating building and its technical systems. The operation of the existing building must be secured throughout the construction period. The building will be connected to municipal water, sewage and stormwater networks.
