Näytteet voidaan toimittaa laboratorioon jäädytettyinä tai kylmäkuljetuksena. Sopimuskauden aikana analysoitavien näytteiden kokonaismääräksi arvioidaan noin 400–600 näytettä. Näytemäärä on arvio eikä muodosta tilaajalle määräostovelvoitetta. Tilaaja ei sitoudu tiettyyn vähimmäis- tai enimmäismäärään näytteitä tai analyysejä. Tilaaja pidättää oikeuden tarkentaa analyysimääriä, näytteiden toimitusaikatauluja sekä tilata tarjouspyynnössä tarkoitettuihin materiaaliryhmiin liittyviä lisäanalyysejä sopimuskauden aikana edellyttäen, ettei hankinnan yleinen luonne tai laajuus olennaisesti muutu. Hankinta sisältää tilaajan toimittamien näytteiden laboratorioanalyysit sekä analyysitulosten toimittamisen sähköisessä muodossa. Analyysipalveluiden tulee kattaa tarjouspyynnössä määritellyt ravinne- ja laatuanalyysit. Analysoitavia ominaisuuksia voivat olla muun muassa kokonaistyppi, ammoniumtyppi, kokonaisfosfori, kokonaiskalium, kuiva-aine, pH sekä muut tarjouspyyntöasiakirjoissa määritellyt analyysit. Näytteitä toimitetaan laboratorioon vaiheittain sopimuskauden aikana.
