The Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy in Finland from Europe region has released this tender for Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy (hereinafter referred to as the “Procurement Unit”) is inviting tenders for the needs of its operating area (the welfare areas of Kanta-Häme, Central Finland, Pirkanmaa, Ostrobothnia and Päijät-Häme) for sampling tubes, tubes used for sample separation, urine sample containers and urine transfer adapters. The operations of the purchasing unit’s owners, i.e. the welfare areas, are undergoing a transformation and changes may occur, for example, to the branch network and the need for laboratory services. The participating welfare areas of Pirkanmaa, Kanta-Häme, Central Finland, Päijät-Häme and Ostrobothnia, as well as Tuomi Logistiikka Oy, can utilize the agreement between the supplier and Fimlab individually. In certain sub-areas, the mandatory option for sampling tubes is a pre-barcoded (so-called pre-barcoded) tube type. The customer intends to use these tubes in small quantities for test use during the contract period and possibly later in stages for production use. These pipes must meet the other minimum requirements set for similar pipes, except for the clear label, and they will be selected from the same supplier as the non-barcoded pipes. If the Client gradually switches to using pre-barcoded pipes during the contract period, this will reduce the use of non-barcoded pipes in a corresponding proportion. The distribution of supplies will take place through the logistics operators of the welfare areas or as Fimlab's own purchase. The distributors are the Central Finland Welfare Area, the warehouse operator of the Päijät-Häme Welfare Area, Tuomi Logistics (Tampere; Fimlab, Pirkanmaa and Kanta-Häme Welfare Areas) and the Ostrobothnia Welfare Area Warehouse (Vaasa, Närpiö and Pietarsaari). The procurement is divided into 20 sub-areas. The tenderer may offer one or more sub-areas. One (1) Supplier will be selected for each sub-area. The contract will be concluded with the winning tenderer for each sub-area. If the tenderer wins the competition for more than one sub-area, the relevant sub-area may be selected. The sub-areas are combined into the same agreement. The volumes of all have been taken into account in the total volumes of the procurement. The volumes are based on the current estimate of annual consumption. The purchasing unit does not commit to fixed procurement quantities. The planned duration of the agreement is 24 months + after which it can be extended indefinitely.
