As part of an evolution of its national license management system (https://www.licencesnationales.fr/), Abes wishes to acquire digital scientific works from the catalogs of publishers whose distribution is closed. The purpose of this contract is the creation of a corpus of scientific works. These works in closed distribution must become open access. They must be in digital format and published until 2020 inclusive. Excluded from this contract are manuals, methodological or related works. Unless otherwise stated, the works must be in French.3 services are expected from the publishers concerned: • Modify the license associated with the proposed book to assign it at least a CC BY-ND license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/4.0/), a CC BY license is preferable. • Provide the university community, as defined on the site https://www.licencesnationales.fr/, with free access to the works thus released on a platform of the publisher or broadcaster for the duration of the market. • Provide Abes with a copy of each digital work, as well as the related descriptive metadata, in particular the notices in MARC format, with a view to their integration into the French national platform for the dissemination of digital scientific documentation ISTEX. These data must be sent to INIST.
