The ZBS_FOND_UP1 reconnaissance program consists of designing, building and equipping 13 deep boreholes, located on the edge of the Underground Works Implantation Zone (ZIOS), for the purposes of characterizing the installation of the future industrial geological storage center known as “Cigéo”. This contract concerns the realization of drilling and ancillary services of the ZBS_FOND_UP1 program. The services expected under this contract are: - Design, build and rehabilitate four drilling platforms on the edge of ZIOS; - Design and carry out a program of 13 destructive or cored boreholes taking into account the program of scientific measurements and equipment; - Produce the technical documentation associated with its services, ensure its backup and transmission to Andra following the requested procedures and formats. The ZBS_FOND_UP1 drilling program includes 13 drillings spread over four platforms and four seismic lines: 1. Four drillings in the Dogger will be carried out destructively and will be subject to geological monitoring, control logs (lithology and casing cementing): - The final diameter will be 6"1/4; - The equipment will include two measuring chambers. 2. Four drillings will aim to Callovo-Oxfordian and will sink into the Dogger to the depth necessary for the acquisition by logs and Vertical Seismic Profile (PSV) of the contact between the two formations, i.e. 10 to 15 meters: - The Kimmeridgian and the carbonated Oxfordian will be drilled destructively. It is proposed to stop the destructive phase 15 meters before the supposed position of the significant stratigraphic marker the carbonate Oxfordian/Callovo-Oxfordian boundary; - The Callovo-Oxfordian will be cored in oil mud; - The final diameter will be 6"1/4; - The equipment will include ten measuring chambers. 3. Four boreholes in the carbonate Oxfordian will be drilled destructively and will be subject to geological monitoring, control logs (lithology and casing cementation): - The final diameter will be 6"1/4; - The equipment will include 5 measuring chambers. 4. The carbonated Oxfordian borehole CIG0101 (Ribeaucourt - Oxfordian - Core) will be cored entirely at the Kimmeridgian and Oxfordian level carbonated in water mud with added polymers. For this drilling, the Holder will be responsible for making 2 distinct water-based muds: - The first will be used to core the upper formations of the sedimentary pile, namely, the Barrois Limestone, the Kimmeridgian and the Oxfordian; - The second will be used to core the Callovo-Oxfordian argillites and its formulation will have to be adapted to reduce their swelling as much as possible; - It will sink 80 m into the USC in order to carry out natural stress measurements. - It will be resealed at the end of the measurements. 5. Four seismic lines passing through each of the drilling platforms will allow the drilling information to be realigned with the 3D seismic survey of the ZIOS.
