2 (two) linear accelerator systems for radiotherapy

The University Hospital Halle (Saale) AöR in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for Two universally applicable C-arm linear accelerator systems, including a Record & Verify (R&V) system, for radiotherapy are to be offered. Both linear accelerators must be suitable for a broad spectrum of radiotherapy treatments and techniques with very high precision. Both systems must be suitable for, among other things, 2D and 3D IGRT, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and adaptive radiotherapy (ART). Both linear accelerators require an SGRT system and CBCT imaging with the best possible image quality and highest possible accuracy (HU) with the fastest possible image acquisition. The two linear accelerators must be able to operate in tandem and be matched to each other. Consequently, two identical MLCs are required, which must be suitable for high-resolution beam shaping in SRS. Both linear accelerators should also include a 6D treatment table that allows for positioning correction in six degrees of freedom (three translations (X, Y, Z) and three rotations around the respective axes). We are offering a complete system consisting of two linear accelerator systems, including all necessary ancillary systems and accessories, as well as a Record and Verify (R&V) system. Furthermore, we are offering all related services, including the dismantling and disposal of the old systems, a full-service contract, and the provision of the required equipment-specific construction and installation services. This procurement is a replacement purchase. The new linear accelerators must be commissioned sequentially to ensure uninterrupted patient care for radiotherapy. The Record and Verify (R&V) system must be operational and fully functional upon commissioning of the first new linear accelerator. Both linear accelerators must be matched so that they can be used with a single set of basic data in our existing treatment planning system (Raystation).
