The tender was published by Deutsche Gesellschaft f r Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ GmbH on 12 Nov 2025 for 81318658-Short-term expert pool to strengthen the rule of law and transparency to promote social cohesion The TZ module is part of the EZ program good governance for more investment and employment The module is intended to strengthen the rule of law transparency and social cohesion It is assigned to the core topic peace and social cohesion field of action 1 good governance The TZ module contributes to the EZ program in two ways firstly it is intended to strengthen the independence of the judiciary and contribute to more uniform jurisprudence In addition measures to combat IFF and corruption are planned as part of the TZ module IFF are those that are illegal due to their origin for example from corruption their use for example to finance terrorism or the type of transfer such as money laundering The TZ module implements activities to combat illegal financial flows including those arising from corruption and thereby makes a direct contribution to combating corruption in the public sector and thus to the DC program The development program also aims to strengthen women s rights and create greater gender equality Women who carry out a large part of the care and support work in the family and therefore have fewer chances of economic independence are more often victims of corrupt acts in the form of sexual violence Furthermore women often do not know their legal rights or do not have the necessary means and resources to report corruption or file a complaint This is addressed in the module in the intended awareness-raising formats by civil society organizations ZGO The contractor contributes to achieving the module goal the judiciary and other state and non-state actors will play their role particularly in strengthening access to justice for the Senegalese population and in combating illegal financial flows and contributes to achieving all four outputs through the provision and management of short-term specialists.
