Since the introduction of this process, the annual financial statement data has been recorded externally. Currently, around 2,500 annual financial statements are recorded externally for KfW. The task of the external service provider is to record the annual financial statement data 1:1, to aggregate it according to KfW-specific mapping instructions and to transmit the resulting data sets to KfW. The interpretation and evaluation of the annual financial statements remains entirely within the sovereignty of KfW. In addition to the recording of annual financial statements, the recording of the texts of the annual financial statements should also be commissioned as an additional service.
