Conception implementation and implementation of an sap is-u to sap s 4hana utilities transformation for a network operator and the basic measuring point operator FACTUR Billing Solutions GmbH is a process and IT service provider for municipal utilities sales and network companies on the German energy market FACTUR permanently provides process services for meter reading billing market communication as well as payment and receivables management for the customers affected here In addition FACTUR provides application management for the current system landscape The customer carries out the accounting and device management processes with its own staff The source system is a SAP IS-U ECC 6 0 in which the electricity and gas divisions are fully mapped and the water and heat divisions are mapped to map device management The SAP EDM system is used integrated for accounting tasks Market communication is currently carried out via the B2Bbp solution from Arvato The system depicts both the role of distribution network operator and the role of the metering point operator with basic responsibility As part of application management FACTUR is commissioned to transfer the current SAP IS-U system to a SAPS 4HANA Utilities system environment The aim is to go live at the beginning of 2028 followed by a hypercare phase The client intends to outsource the conception implementation and implementation of an SAP IS-U to SAP S 4HANA Utilities transformation in the form of a shell conversion and selective quality-assured data migration The transition does not have to be carried out as a technical system conversion brownfield or as a complete new implementation greenfield but rather as a selective data migration to a newly built SAP S 4HANA Utilities system environment by the contractor shell conversion-related approach Selective DataTransition The aim is to transfer technically and regulatory-relevant master and transaction data into a newly configured target environment while consciously avoiding the transfer of technical legacy and historical individual developments In particular the contractor must ensure the following - the execution of the transformation project in line with market standards using best practices - the consistent billing accounting and operational capability of the target platform at go-live - the traceability auditability and auditability of the migrated data - Compliance with regulatory requirements including EnWG GoBD market communication In particular the contractor must provide the following services - Analysis of the existing SAP IS-U data and process landscape - Conception of a migration strategy close to Shell Conversion Selective Data Transition - Conception of the processes in the target process landscape - The delta parameterization of the newly built SAP S 4HANA Utilities system - Definition of the data objects to be transferred and the required data history - Creation of a business-technical migration concept including test validation cut-over and fallback scenarios - Use of a professional market-tested and tool-supported approach to selective data migration - Creation of the test concept and support of the test phases functional test integration test acceptance - Carrying out test migrations dress rehearsals and productive migrations including cut-over support - Ensuring support in a hypercare phase after going live - Quality assurance based on defined criteria completeness consistency traceability - Support with internal and external audits - Close collaboration with departments IT and participating service providers - Possibility to use essential project roles in project-critical phases predominantly on-site at customer locations - Structured knowledge transfer and handover to the company - Project management for the services described here Ideally the bidder can demonstrate already completed or ongoing projects with its own or exclusively used professional and market-established approach to selective data migration SDT with SAP S 4HANA Utilities which is suitable for SAP IS-U to SAP S 4HANA Utilities transformations and has already been used productively in comparable projects The client is currently assuming a scope of work of around 5 000 project days
