The Ministry of Nutrition Rural Area and Consumer Protection Baden-W rttemberg in Germany from Europe region had released this tender for Consulting services in the changeover of z os jcl-jobs to shell scripts as part of the project replacement of large computers In a letter from 2021 the Ministry of Finance informed that the operation of the major calculator will be discontinued at the end of December 31 2027 A project to replace the major calculator was then agreed with Unit 15 It has been working on it since May 2023 The goal was to work out in 2023 planned items for setting up the double budget 2025 2026 In 2023 a proof of con-cept POC was carried out the result of which was shown with the note MLR22-0272-62 1 from 23 11 2023 In 2024 a project plan and the technical framework conditions were developed by the LGL and the project with ministerial note MLR22-0272-278 1 2 was decided Appendix 1 The LZFD is now planning to switch off the Z OS infrastructure by the end of 2027 The affected application is to be migrated to Linux Part of these applications consists of JCL-Batchjobs which are operated on the Z OS within Natural Operations Enop and Natural Output MA-NAGE ENOM The migration is carried out under the leadership and management of the LGL GDZ Unit 35 based in Kornwestheim with tender notice no.
