The tender was published by Bauhaus University Weimar on 11 Nov 2025 for Delivery of 3d laser scanners for recording components and structures Lot 1 The 3D laser measuring system is intended to be used for high-precision and non-contact geometry capture of buildings or components It is used on the structure under real operating conditions at times of day and night and in a wide variety of weather conditions Therefore the measuring system must be designed to be as robust as possible A 3D laser measuring system will be used among other things needed for applications on engineering structures and historical buildings which enables a high capture rate of up to 2 million points per second In addition the measuring system should be able to overlay the scan result with RGB color information even under difficult lighting conditions by taking precise photos e g with an integrated HDR camera A positioning system should also be included to ensure registration in the field In addition the measuring system should be able to be retrofitted with additional hardware and software at a later date in order to record the thermal properties of rooms and objects and link this information with the generated 3D point cloud It should also be optionally possible to convert the laser scanner if necessary with additional hardware into a mobile measurement system and to combine the 3D data collected in this way with static data The measuring system must meet the minimum technical requirements listed in the specifications as well as the requirements for flexibility mobility long-term stability and robustness Several PCs with the Windows 11 operating system are available to install software for recording and evaluating measurement data The corresponding accessories for operating the measuring system including cables for power supply control and data transmission as well as data storage must be mentioned and included in the price The corresponding software for controlling the measuring system and evaluating the measurement data must be supplied alongside detailed operating instructions Lot 2 The hand-held mobile mapping scanner is intended to be used for non-contact and rapid geometry capture of complete structures The digital environment capture should take place in real time while you move with the device The measuring system should continuously record spatial data and at the same time use localization methods and mapping methods to determine position in order not to have to rely on external referencing during movement data acquisition without control points Since the measuring system among other things If it is required for use in confined spaces and difficult terrain it should be as small light and robust as possible The acquisition rate should be high at least 400 000 points per second in order to be able to achieve rapid acquisition Furthermore the measuring system should overlay the generated 3-point cloud with RGB color information The measuring system must meet the minimum technical requirements listed in the specifications as well as the requirements for flexibility mobility long-term stability and robustness Several PCs with the Windows 11 operating system are available to install the software for recording and evaluating measurement data The corresponding accessories for operating the measuring system must be named and priced The corresponding software for controlling the measuring system and evaluating the measurement data must be supplied alongside detailed operating instructions The scope of delivery should also include a transport case for the entire system.
