Description : The Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture (LWK), a corporation under public law, is the self-governing organization for agriculture in Lower Saxony. The LWK intends to plan and build a new building for the dairy training center for its LUFA North-West business division at the Oldenburg location. The dairy training center (consisting of a training dairy and a training laboratory) will be used for inter-company training for the apprenticeships of dairy technologist and dairy laboratory technician. Funding will therefore be applied for from the Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB) and the State of Lower Saxony for the project. The space plan approved by the BIBB and the state provides for around 1,600 m2 of floor space for the training dairy (small-scale dairy with different production processes - most of the existing facilities are to be retained) and around 700 m2 of floor space for the training laboratory. The costs of the project (KG 300+400) are currently estimated at approximately EUR 12.8 million net based on a rough feasibility study.
