The tender was published by Fraport AG on 06 Mar 2026 for Digitaldruckstra e airport print center Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide Fraport operates Frankfurt Main Airport and alone or together with third parties several other airports terminals and service companies worldwide The subject of this award is the following services The replacement of the 3 existing color production systems including maintenance and repair and training the client on how to use the machines A turnkey overall system with the complete set-up of the necessary systems and components is to be offered as part of a leasing agreement The aim of this tender is to find a suitable service provider who can reliably and efficiently provide the necessary digital printing lines including software and administration of the servers for the comprehensive printing services in the area of digital printing according to our ideas The bidder must provide the construction and installation for the order including delivery and removal as well as all of the requirements for the hardware and software system to be fulfilled free of charge by APC Airport Print Center Any necessary configuration changes in the workplace environment PC MAC network etc must be carried out by the bidder after consultation with the APC Fraport intends to carry out a test with all suitable providers during the award process The requirements listed below include the delivery and installation of all necessary hardware and software systems One unit color production system Print speed of at least 90 DIN A4 pages in color per minute 80g m Grammages of at least 60-350 g m also in autoduplex Two units of identical color production systems Print speed of at least 135 DIN A4 pages in color per minute 80g m Grammages of at least 60-500 g m even in auto duplex from all required paper magazines The software offered supports a uniform device-dependent media catalog with the printing systems offered Currently around 30 media types of paper with different grammages etc are used These must be able to be created freely A consistent PDF workflow as well as the automatic transfer of all job programming made in the software to the queue of the job management software currently used in the APC and to the queue of the printing systems is mandatory The data from SAP must be enriched with further information regarding the types of media used information from the queue database and then transferred to a central printer queue.
