Framework agreement for bus transport contracts at major events within Germany

The Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst e. V. in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for A framework agreement for bus transportation services is being sought for the three DAAD scholarship holders meetings held annually within Germany. These meetings take place at a university location in Germany (the venue). The number of meetings can vary depending on the DAADs funding from its grant providers and is determined annually by the DAAD. The meetings serve to strengthen the DAADs ties with its scholarship holders and to foster networking among the scholarship recipients themselves. Furthermore, participants have the opportunity to attend academic lectures or even give their own presentations. A cultural program and a closing evening event complete the program. The format, locations, and dates of the scholarship holders meetings are determined by the DAAD. The current format stipulates that the events always begin on Friday afternoon with the arrival of the participants and conclude on Sunday after breakfast. Approximately 50 DAAD staff members travel to the meetings to provide support and usually participate in the entire program. Participants are generally accommodated in four to five hotels at the respective venue. Participants will be transported in groups from their individual university locations to the event venue by the bus company. The pick-up points and the respective event venue are generally within a radius of no more than 500 km. The DAAD will determine the pick-up points and the number of people to be transported. On-site, participants will be transported from their hotels to the university and to other locations in the vicinity (up to a maximum distance of 50 km) of the university location, as per the program.
