The S dwestrundfunk Institution of public law in Germany from Europe region had released this tender for Framework agreement for the procurement of extensions for the existing unstructured data infrastructure of the swr and other entitled to references and associated conception and planning services In order to fulfill their tasks the public service broadcasters are mandatory on a powerful and functioning IT infrastructure This also includes mass storage for Unstructured Data which are implemented in various radio stations as Grid storage frastructure with devices from the Dell company of the PowerScale series formerly Isilon and ObjectScale formerly ECS The constant growth of data requires that the existing infrastructures have to be permanently expanded and further storage units must be supplemented Under the leadership of the S dwestrundfunk SWR this EU-wide award procedure intends to complete a framework agreement with a contractor for the delivery and maintenance of memory units of Dell the PowerScale formerly Isilon and ObjectScale ECS as well as associated services such as conception and planning services The framework agreement is to be completed for the term of initially 72 months and two extension options of 12 months max Duration 96 months The extension option is exercised by the client and also applies to all beneficiaries from this framework agreement The framework agreement begins at the earliest on December 1st 2025 The main delivery services to be provided are - Delivery of memory units of the Dell of the PowerScale series formerly Isilon and ObjectScale formerly ECS in different equipment variants as well as maintenance and guarantee services from the manufacturer for up to 84 months - Delivery of network components backend connectivity as well as maintenance and guarantee services from the manufacturer for up to 84 months -Delivery of OEM and third party software for administration and management of the purchased hardware components as well as software maintenance from manufacturers for up to 84 months Essential services to be provided are -Mohnt with the client or the beneficiary by the contractor not manufacturer to the state of hardware ready Optional services are - Planning and concept services for the development and expansion of the grid storage frastructure as well as further configurations of the systems according to the state hardware ready -Cloudhosting of individual storage units -Pay as you use apex onprem The following points are important for this project -Continuity and quality in the processing of the maintenance and guarantee services -Logistic performance In addition to the SWR as the client of this framework agreement the other public service broadcasters named under Chapter 3 2 3 participation competition and their subsidiaries and investment companies provided that the participation of the public service broadcasters are at least 50 are involved as entitled to reference -Bayrischer Rundfunk BR -Deutsche Welle DW -Aard star point represented by the Hessischer Rundfunk HR -Middle German broadcasting MDR -Radio Bremen RB Bremedia Production GmbH -Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg RBB -Information processing center IVZ represented by the Bundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg RBB -Saarl ndischer Rundfunk SR -S dwestrundfunk SWR -WDR MediaGroup Digital GmbH represented by Westdeutscher Rundfunk WDR The contract is exercised on the basis of a framework agreement for the devices advertised in this procedure and the stored price list The acceptance quantities are given in EUR net and refer to the maximum term of the framework agreement of 96 months The acceptance quantities apply regardless of the product category the acceptance can be done differently The acceptance quantities are shown in the procedural and contract documents chapter 4 3 -Mehmindest acceptance quantity 12 800 000 00 net -planned acceptance quantity 37 600 000 00 net -Optional maximum amount 57 500 000 00 net with tender notice no.
