The Stadt Freiburg i. Br. - Assignment management in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for Renovation of the listed Lortzing School, Lortzingstr. 1, 79106 Freiburg. The subject of this procedure is landscape design services (including engineering structures) for service phases 1-9. The contract will be awarded in stages. In stage one, service phases 1-3 will be commissioned. There is no entitlement to be commissioned in subsequent stages. A negotiated procedure with prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Section 14 Paragraph 3 and Section 17 of the German Procurement Ordinance (VgV) will be conducted in two stages for landscape design services according to the German Fee Structure for Architects and Engineers (HOAI), Part 3, Section 2, Sections 38 et seq., which also include engineering structure design services according to HOAI, Part 3, Section 41 et seq. The Lortzing School building complex is currently largely in its original condition (1950s) and is a listed building. The condition of the buildings necessitates extensive renovation work that cannot be carried out within the scope of ordinary building maintenance. The aim of the renovation is to ensure the long-term preservation of the existing building through sensible modernizations. The scope of these modernizations will be determined based on a comprehensive assessment of legal requirements, technical feasibility, historic preservation regulations, maximum energy efficiency, and available project funds. The extent to which additional optimizations regarding climate and species protection can be incorporated will also be examined during the planning phase. Existing floor space to be considered: approx. 9,000 m² gross floor area / approx. 6,000 m² net usable floor area. Implementation period for all measures: 2027–2032.
