Wing y has four stories (basement, ground floor, first floor, attic). The ground floor of this wing housed laboratory, storage, and office space, as well as building services. The first floor contains laboratory and office space, and the basement contains storage, building services, laboratory, changing rooms, and storage areas. The attic is used for technical equipment. Both wings to be demolished are currently unused. The buildings are currently being decommissioned and disconnected from the network by the FZJ (Research Center for Forestry and Forestry). The attached buildings 15.1 and 15.4u remain in operation. Technical dependencies on the wings to be demolished are currently being eliminated by the FZJ (Research Center for Forestry and Environment), so that the planning can be based on a technically self-sufficient building.
