The Leverkusen Hospital gGmbH in Germany from Europe region had released this tender for General planning services for the construction of a helipad The Leverkusen Clinic the academic teaching hospital of the University of Cologne is a regional top-quality hospital with a highly qualified range of medical and nursing services More than 2 600 people look after the health and well-being of patients in twelve medical departments with a total of 746 beds numerous centers and institutes as well as in the service areas subsidiaries and administration Doctors pharmacists nurses therapists and other professional groups are on duty around the clock Despite its supra-regional importance the Leverkusen Clinic has so far only had one ground-based helipad which does not meet the requirements of Section 6 of the Aviation Act and is therefore no longer served General planning services are therefore being sought - service phases 4 to 9 - for the construction of an elevated helipad on building 1 Y The associated property is owned by Klinikum Leverkusen GmbH Building 1 Y is located in the northern clinic area and is at a distance of approx 20m from the Dh nn which runs further north and has an average altitude of 500 m 56 5 m above sea level NN almost level The building is located in the area of a development plan but with the construction of the helipad the construction limit in the north will be exceeded and this results in a deviation from the existing development plan Based on the planning carried out for service phases 1-4 a building application was submitted and the building permit was granted on October 16 2023 This building permit is the basis for the current award of general planning services for the service phases described in each case When building 1 Y was realized the original plan for a future heliport was not pursued any further The load shares for the landing area were only taken into account in the static load assumptions Neither the planning of the technology center on the 6th floor nor the elevator took any later implementation into account The development core was not raised to the height necessary for a landing site The expansion of the existing elevator system is not possible during ongoing hospital operations as these elevators are required for operating theaters and intensive care operations The existing building 1 Y is a reinforced concrete structure that was built in 2004 in a 1st BA as an in-situ concrete construction with the dimensions of approx 74 25m and the floors 1st basement ground floor 1st floor 2nd floor In a 2nd BA 2015 - 2017 the new building was added as a mixed construction made of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts with in-situ concrete additions to the 3rd floor 4th floor 5th floor 6th floor 6th floor technical floor The payload on the reinforced concrete ceilings is 500kg m2 The landing pad was originally planned as a steel structure but due to the higher dead weight of the helicopters the steel structure is no longer possible and must therefore be made from an aluminum structure The landing platform will have a diameter of approximately 30m To access the landing site the main staircase is to be increased by two floors The ceiling above the 7th floor is planned as a reinforced concrete ceiling the roof ceiling is to be made of trapezoidal sheet metal construction In addition an additional elevator is to be built that can reach all floors from the 1st basement to the 8th floor This elevator is designed as a steel structure in the courtyard For this purpose the existing parapet must be dismantled The foundation should be made using micropiles The measure must be carried out during active hospital operations The building must be scaffolded in the construction site area For further information and details on the subject of the service please refer to the service description with tender notice no.
