The District of Schw bisch Hall Hall Klinikum gGmbH in Germany from Europe region had released this tender for Hyper-v server The Clinic Crailsheim is planning to set up a new IT infrastructure as part of the Hospital Future Act KHZG FTB 7 This is to ensure stable operation of the IT systems in cooperation with the cooperation partner The aim is to improve the efficiency quality and safety of medical care In the list of services the necessary requirements for the implementation of the measures are defined as part of the KHZG The technical focus of this project is on the procurement of hardware components as well as the implementation of IT basis structures in data centers 1 and 2 including accessories and services for the Clinicum Crailsheim district of Schw bisch Hall Klinikum gGmbH The Crailsheim Clinic operates an independent IT environment to support the business processes and offers numerous IT services in the clinical sector Currently a cluster environment based on Hyper-V 2022 is operated for server virtualization the servers are distributed on Hyper-V server systems in 2 server rooms Since maintenance contracts for important parts of the IT infrastructure expire in 2024-2025 the procurement of new components is required The new server environment will continue to be based on virtualization technology The construction of a redundant cluster environment with 8 knots is planned spread over two data centers This configuration forms the basis for the Hyper-V platform for the server virtualization of the clinic in the coming years As part of the planned new server procurement we intend to align the systems to the manufacturer Hewlett Packard Enterprise HPE The decision is justified by several technical and conceptual factors that were made in the interest of a future-proof uniform and efficient IT infrastructure We have currently implemented a San Storage based on the HPE Alletra MP 10000 series in conjunction with HPE B3600 SAN switches For optimal use of the functions of this highly performant storage solution a seamless in-together of the Hyper-V servers into the existing HPE infrastructure is required A central aspect is the consolidated management of all components via the cloud-based management platform from HPE This offers extensive options for uniform surveillance control and maintenance of the entire environment - from the servers to storage to the network The use of various management systems for servers and SAN would not only increase complexity but also create potential sources of error that can have a negative impact on operational safety and efficiency In addition the combination of HPE Hyper-V servers with HPE Alletra MP Storage ensures maximum interoperability By using the manufacturer s optimized driver firmware and management interfaces a stable performant and fully supported infrastructure can be realized This reduces the risk of incompatibilities and significantly facilitates support during operation For these reasons the procurement of hyper-V servers can only be carried out on the basis of HPE hardware and is therefore advertised manufacturer-specific The details can be found in Appendix 1 on these tender documents with tender notice no.
