Kehl Vocational Schools, Renovation of Building G, Flooring Work

The Landratsamt Ortenaukreis in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for The building's dimensions are approximately 50.0 x 14.5 m in plan view. Flooring work is scheduled to begin in December 2026. The following flooring work is required: 8 measurements of screed moisture, removal and disposal of approx. 2,400 m² of linoleum flooring, grinding of approx. 2,400 m² of subfloor, milling of 150 m² of subfloor, removal and disposal of 450 linear meters of edge insulation strips, replacement of 1,000 linear meters of edge insulation strips, resin sealing and closing of 700 linear meters of cracks, cutting of 456 linear meters of existing screed, supply and installation of 456 linear meters of connecting connectors, 300 m² of impact sound insulation, 300 m² of separating layer, screed repair of 300 m², repair of 250 m² of screed up to approx. 5 cm, application of bonding primer to the subfloor, application of 2,500 m² of 2-component epoxy resin primer (5-8 mm), and application of 2,500 m² of 2-component epoxy resin filler. Levelling compound (3 mm thick), 8 adhesion tests, approx. 2,500 m² linoleum flooring (2.5 mm R9), 42 silicone joint sealants at door frames, approx. 1,500 linear meters of 12 x 60 mm plastic skirting boards, 2 entrance mats (2.00 x 2.00 m), 20 linear meters of flooring transition profiles, 10 floor tracks for fire doors, 10 linear meters of aluminum expansion joint profile, approx. 2,500 m² of protective covering with milk carton paper, approx. 2,500 m² initial maintenance of the linoleum flooring. The Ortenau District Office intends to award the contract for flooring work as part of its interior renovation of the vocational schools in Kehl. The Kehl vocational school complex, consisting of buildings H, G, N, and connecting building V, was constructed in the 1960s. Over the decades, the school has undergone repeated modernizations, most recently as part of an energy-efficient renovation that included the renewal of the facades. Building section G comprises a ground floor, three upper floors, a partial basement, and a crawl space (not accessible) containing utility lines. The aim of the interior renovation is to improve the existing fire safety, upgrade rooms in need of renovation, and adapt the spatial layout to current requirements. The renovation will involve modifying and optimizing some classrooms to better meet the needs of the current student population. It will also include relocating some specialist classrooms and the administrative wing within the existing building to ensure accessibility to a reasonable extent.
