The tender was published by State Office for the Environment LfU on 15 Dec 2025 for Los west The service includes the examination of the measuring points listed in Appendix 1 in various rivers and is divided into lots Samples from the MZB should be carried out in the measuring sections on one spring date which should ideally be during a low water phase By-catches of fish must be recorded in the field log and data form according to species and number If the watercourses 10 m wide still have water levels MW in April sampling should be postponed until the water levels fall below the mean water level It is assumed that before the planned sampling those taking samples obtain information about the current water level situation in the large rivers on the Internet and from the locally responsible hydrological measuring services local WSA for federal waterways LfU for other waters Any additional effort that may arise due to double journeys on large rivers with known strong flood dynamics will not be reimbursed separately but must be taken into account as a risk factor in the partial total of the travel costs If sampling of a measuring point to be examined at individual measuring points is to be carried out by June 15th at the latest due to long-term flooding of the respective year of examination is not possible these measuring points are exceptionally open after June 15th in consultation with the client to be sampled in the same year It is not possible to postpone individual sampling to the following year The section of water to be sampled is the measuring section It begins at the measuring point starting point clearly specified by north and right values ETRS 89 and extends approximately 50 - 100 m upstream in the watercourse The starting points are binding but in several cases they cannot be reached in all weather conditions even with off-road vehicles In some cases walks of up to 200 m long through rough terrain are required The samplers are therefore required to have a maximum of physical performance prudence professional experience and commitment The MZB of the collected samples must be determined according to the contents of the following chapters The data on the MZB and by-catch of fish the information to be collected in the field on the water characteristics and pollution the habitat photos and the short verbal descriptions must be made available to the client client for digital download via the DialogBB exchange platform The contractor contractor receives temporary access to DialogBB after prior agreement with the client The completed field protocols must be scanned The resulting PDF files must be named after the respective measuring point and bundled into a ZIP file field log file The ZIP file must be handed over to the client as part of the first partial service For the duration of the fourth management period until December 31 2033 the original protocols must be retained by the contractor to preserve evidence The site conditions and substrate distribution must be recorded on site by the samplers and transferred - either directly on the site or subsequently in the office - into the data form xlsx format specified by the client The service described represents a repeat study on several surface water bodies as part of the monitoring with the aim of documenting any changes that may have occurred compared to previous sampling Great importance is therefore placed on the accuracy of the results in every case If contrary to expectations sampling of the specified measuring section is not possible for technical reasons e g due to inaccessibility due to technical barriers walls or sheet piles on banks no other measuring section is to be sampled as a substitute but the sampling of the measuring section is then canceled in the respective year of investigation Such exceptional cases must be noted in the data form and two photos of the habitat structure or local barrier must be taken as evidence of the sampling attempt.
