The tender was published by Cologne Transport Company AG on 23 Dec 2025 for Lot t5 2 tga - charging technology for the btf project porz 2nd construction phase K lner Verkehrs-betriebe AG hereinafter KVB is planning to expand an electric bus depot KVB Porz on an approximately 63 000 m2 former industrial property at Kaiserstrasse 127 in Cologne-Porz The subject of the award is the delivery assembly electrical connection commissioning and complete acceptable documentation of low-voltage switchgear and a DC charging infrastructure for electric buses to expand the existing Porz depot into newly developed operating areas There will be 139 parking spaces for electric buses on the expansion site All parking spaces are accessible on site with a steel construction traverse and are to be supplied with the detached loading units via loading hoods The loading units are housed within structures provided by the customer in a central block between the parking spaces The cable route to the parking spaces is provided on site via underground empty pipe systems The aim is to build a powerful safe and operationally reliable energy distribution and charging device for the controlled charging of the electric bus fleet The scope of services includes in particular the construction of the low-voltage main distribution boards the creation of the necessary supply lines and cable routes inside outside as well as the connection of the charging infrastructure to the newly developed areas via protective pipes and cable routes within the trusses This also includes all ancillary services that are necessary for professional execution e g cable support systems marking signage fire protection partitions The charging infrastructure must be implemented in such a way that safe and permanently available operation is guaranteed This includes integrating and expanding an existing load and charging management system as well as establishing the necessary communication and control connections The contractor ensures optimal availability via remote access to the chargers and can quickly eliminate malfunctions and failures within the scope of the maintenance contract to be offered The scope of services includes among other things - Delivery and installation of 10 low-voltage main distribution boards for the distribution of transformer power to the chargers including cable assembly - Delivery and connection of a total of 135 DC charging points with remote parking spaces and a charging current of 200 A - Delivery and connection of a total of 4 DC charging points with remote parking spaces and a charging current of 600 A - Raised floor installation and installation of the entire cable routes - Ready-to-use construction commissioning and handover of the systems - Instruction of the operating personnel after commissioning - Maintenance contract for 5 years In addition the system technology supplied must be integrated into the existing control technology system based on Profinet Execution period Expected start of execution 09 2026 to 11 2026 Expected end of execution 04 2027 to 06 2027 You will be informed of the binding execution times after the competition has ended and when the contract documents are sent.
