Maintenance, development and other services for Kofax components

The Federal Republic of Germany - Federal Office of Justice in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for There is a need for various services, which will be tendered in the form of a maintenance contract, a service contract, and a framework agreement. Due to the individual specialized procedures for the Electronic Commercial and Cooperative Register (EHUG), the Electronic Exchange of Criminal Proceedings (ESTA), and the use of the DOMEA document management system, the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ) uses the standard scanning software Kofax. Kofax is required for creating electronic documents from the paper-based incoming mail of the EHUG and the judicial enforcement department. The BfJ intends to continue using the software, which necessitates a new maintenance contract for ongoing support starting January 1, 2027. An EVB-IT maintenance contract will be concluded for this purpose. A connector has been developed for integration with the EHUG specialized procedure. This interface (custom software) also requires maintenance starting January 1, 2027. This will be covered by an EVB-IT service contract. The BfJ's central scanning facility has been upgraded according to the TR-RESISCAN specifications. To technically implement the TR-RESISCAN requirements, the current service provider has made adjustments and extensions to Kofax. During the scanning process, the scanned material passes through Kofax's own Scan, PDFGenerator, and Export modules. It also passes through modules provided by the current service provider (Kofax Capture Custom Module). Maintenance of the Kofax Capture Custom Module is also part of this tender and will be required starting January 1, 2027. These three service components are to be provided and billed at a fixed annual rate. Furthermore, the Federal Office of Justice (BfJ) requires development, implementation, and other services. A framework agreement will be concluded for this purpose. Development and enhancement services are to be commissioned for the existing EHUG interface and for any additional new specialized applications. Configuration and development services may be required for the integration of new specialized applications. Other services may include consulting, workshops, and/or operational support, such as on-site installation/configuration or development work at the contractor's premises, telephone consultations, and/or remote support.
