New bus betriebshof in m nchengladbach project control project levels 1 to 5 according to aho issue no 9 2020 and aho issue no 19 2018 New Mobil and Aktiv M nchengladbach GmbH plans to build the new bus depot at the location of the former Niederrhein-Kaserne in M nchengladbach As part of the sustainability strategy of the New Group the New Mobil and Aktiv M nchengladbach GmbH and New Mobil and Aktiv Viersen GmbH have decided to switch the entire bus fleet 231 buses in M nchengladbach and 27 buses in Viersen to alternative drives by 2030 The current strategy provides for the switch to electrical drives The increased space requirement for the charging infrastructure and for the changed operating processes cannot be reproduced on the existing operating heads both in M nchengladbach Rheinstra e and in Viersen Rectoratstrasse That is why the New Mobil and Aktiv M nchengladbach GmbH has decided to build a new inter-communal emission-free bus farm for the entire electric fleet of both transport companies on Kaldenkirchener Stra e in M nchengladbach on the site of the former Niederrhein-Kaserne In addition to the 260 parking spaces with charging infrastructure a workshop for the buses and the New Group s car and truck fleet as well as an administration building including social rooms are also to be built with a parking garage The area is to be powered by a transfer station on the area The unification of the two transport companies results in many synergies including in the joint use of workshop infrastructures office and social areas or the flexible use of the bus fleet The property is located on one of the main input and failure streets to M nchengladbach This means that the exposed administration building is expected to be of particular importance as a landmark and gateway to the city as an expression of the visualization of sustainability and the turnover of energy and mobility Thanks to the architectural and ecological design as well as focus on future -oriented mobility technologies the new depot is intended to set a clear sign and strengthen the region s attractiveness as a pioneer of sustainable urban development and mobility The land -use procedure for the project -related development plan has already started with the aim of the constitutional decision on October 27 2027 This means that the planning flows in parallel into the land use process and is coordinated with the approval authorities so that the building application can also be approved with the decision -making decision of the installation decision Various expert opinion examinations are currently underway The construction project will be implemented in two significant construction phases - BA I - 2028-02 2029 Carports for 92 buses including charging infrastructure - BA II - 2029-2030 Workshop administrative building as well as remaining carports etc For the new bus depot funding via the transport association Rhein -Ruhr VRR is being aimed finance In the second construction phase already funded and built-up charging infrastructures are to be moved from the old operating facilities to the area of the former Niederrhein barracks A promising application for additional funding from the Mobile stations of the future in the Rheinisches Revier is currently underway According to the current status of an estimated cost of approximately EUR 213 million net the new building is assumed for the KG 200 - 700 according to DIN 276 The subject of the present award procedure are the basic services for project control project levels 1 to 5 areas of action A to E as well as certain special services in accordance with AHO issue No 9 2020 and AHO issue No 19 2018 A general planner is sought here In the further course it is planned to award the construction work bundled as part of a general entrepreneur GU award
