The Intermunicipal procurement center of the city of Bad Vilbel for the municipality of the city of Bad Vilbel in Germany from Europe region had released this tender for New construction of drinking water tank hb 6 - technical equipment Stadtwerke Bad Vilbel GmbH intends to carry out an extensive optimization of the water supply system Part of this includes among other things the construction of a new drinking water tank as an elevated tank HB 6 to replace the neighboring system HB 3 The new drinking water tank is to be constructed using in-situ concrete and has two water chambers with a storage volume of 3 500 m each The total storage volume is therefore V 7 000 m The piping technology and the telecontrol technology are to be housed in the two-story antechamber valve chamber There is also a stationary emergency power generator in a separate room as well as a Sanitary room provided An epoxy resin coating approved for drinking water is provided for the inner lining of the water chambers The antechamber should be tiled on the floor areas on both floors The undersides of the ceilings each receive a coat of paint The wall surfaces ground floor and basement should be plastered and painted The wall sides to the water chamber should be tiled over the entire wall height on both floors The piping installations in the plant are made of stainless steel executed The drinking water tank is embedded in the local terrain water chambers covered in the ground antechamber partially free-standing The free-standing facade of the antechamber is clad in natural stone New supply and disposal lines will be laid outside to connect the new structure The building drainage and drainage water are fed to the existing drainage pipe HB 3 and from there fed to a feeder A collection pit is provided for the wastewater There is no connection to the sewer network The inlet and outlet pipes drinking water are in there 355 PE or da 560 PE was re-laid up to HB 3 and connected there to the existing lines With this change the new HB 6 goes into operation and the existing HB 3 will be taken out of operation from this point on In addition for reasons of redundancy a parallel inlet and outlet line there 355 PE there 560 PE will be laid from the new container up to the level of the street Am Galgen New empty conduits for power and control cables are also planned on this route The pipeline construction is carried out using an open construction method In the construction area there is probably an old supply line DN 250 GG This must be dismantled during the construction of the excavation pit for the new building A new 355 PE line connection is to be laid as an emergency power supply in the area of the excavation pit of the new container with tender notice no. 2025-SW-101 published on 12 Dec 2025.
