Transportation is not provided during school holidays or on other school-free days. The contractor is not entitled to any compensation in this respect. (3) The city has the discretion to change existing timetables for reasons related to school organization, administration, or traffic. This applies in particular to the removal of existing trips and the addition of new ones. (4) The company is obligated to carry out the assigned services punctually, in accordance with the service plan and the city's instructions. Service Performance: (1) The company undertakes to: a) secure the doors of the vehicle used in such a way that unintentional opening of the doors is not to be expected (door locking mechanism); b) equip the corresponding passenger seats for all students with lap belts or three-point seat belts. The same applies to children in wheelchairs, for whom lap belts must be attached to the floor. Children who refuse to wear seat belts must be reported to the city in writing; c) secure children shorter than 150 cm in accordance with Section 21 Paragraph 1a of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) in officially approved child restraint systems suitable for the child; d) anchor fixed wheelchairs at four points in the vehicle floor during the journey. e) not to allow children to transfer to other vehicles during the journey without the express consent of the city; f) when using a minibus, to equip the entrances and exits on both sides with handrails, insofar as this is technically possible; g) to equip the floor of a minibus in such a way that it is sufficiently slip-resistant even when wet. Vehicles: (1) The company is obliged to keep the vehicles in a clean and roadworthy and safe operating condition, in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations and the Ordinance on the Operation of Motor Vehicle Companies in Passenger Transport (BOKraft) in the currently valid requirements catalog for buses and minibuses.which are specifically used for the transport of pupils and kindergarten children (school buses), to keep them ready for operation with all accessories and to comply with the legal regulations when carrying out school bus operations. with tender notice no. 682294-2026 published on 07 Oct 2026.
