The tender was published by State Building Authority Kempten - Public Procedure Office on 03 Jul 2025 for Planung tga electro The building plots on Bregenzer Str 162a-164 and 211-215 in Lindau which are owned by the Free State of Bavaria are located directly at the border crossing to Austria The Lindau GPI border police inspection is currently housed on two separate plots The total area of the plots is about 4250 m consisting of 1198 m and 3038 m As part of a comprehensive construction work a complete dismantling of the existing buildings is planned in order to enable the new border police inspection during the current operation Since no alternative quarters are available during the construction period the early installation of an interim building will be necessary The planning stipulates that the service building is arranged on a property while the required employee car park is housed on the other property From an urban planning point of view up to five above -ground floors for the service building are possible An important aspect of the new building is the integration of photovoltaics PV modules These are to be installed either on the roof or on facade parts in order to ensure a high self -consumption rate of the generated electricity There is also the possibility to plan a parking garage whereby a car elevator is considered instead of a conventional entry and exit The power supply is currently being carried out via Stadtwerke Lindau Emergency electricity and interruption-free power supply UPS are required for the operational readiness of critical systems In the course of the design planning the new needs must be determined and a performance reinforcement for the supplier must be requested The southern facade or roof area of the office offers potential for the installation of PV systems that should enable maximum power generation on site An extensive green roof could be a sensible addition to the roof system Furthermore the property is equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles which could result in an additional need for transformers The requirements for telecommunications technology are high especially with regard to IT networks operational management and alarm technology electronic locking systems access controls and video surveillance A cloud -based data platform probably Catenda Hub is used for project work to exchange regular project stands A 3D building model is created whereby the architecture firm and the specialist planners work closely together to coordinate the planning and to examine possible collisions The coordinated 3D model is provided on the project platform to meet the requirements of the various trades.
