The City of Offenburg Construction Service Department Central Procurement Office in Germany from Europe region had released this tender for Renovation conversion of student dormitories into rental accommodation flooring work The existing residential complex from 1993 consists of four free-standing buildings two of which are accessed via a common stair tower As part of the conversion of 42 student apartments into 42 rental apartments conversion and energy-saving renovation work is taking place The buildings will be brought up to date with the latest technology The 4 and 5 storey buildings which were built as an arcade type no longer meet today s technical requirements and specifications regarding fire sound and heat insulation The energy modernization involves upgrading the facade with a thermal insulation composite system as well as replacing and rebuilding window elements roller shutters access doors wall surfaces and floor surfaces etc The four pitched roofs will receive additional thermal insulation and a new roof covering PV systems are installed on the roofs In order to meet the requirements and specifications of the KFW for an Efficiency House 85 the heating system including piping and radiators will also be replaced in addition to the measures described so far The electrical and plumbing installations will be completely renewed The existing construction will be largely retained and only changed in absolutely necessary cases The screed should also be retained in its current form with the exception of a few interventions if possible Flooring work There is a vinyl floor on all residential floors ground floor - 2nd floor 3rd floor to relocate The total area of the floor to be laid is approximately 2 900 m with tender notice no.
