The tender was published by Stadtwerke Landsberg KU on 24 Oct 2025 for Renovation of the island pool - construction stage 2a - sealing and plumbing work Sealing and plumbing work The public outdoor swimming pool in the city of Landsberg am Lech was completely renovated around 45 years ago and has remained in operation essentially unchanged since then The island pool consists of a main building with a basement ground floor and upper floor as well as a pool complex with a 50 m sports pool wave pool diving pool and children s paddling pool There are two GRP water slides between the wave pool and the diving pool The pool water technology and a district heating center of the Landsberg municipal utility are housed in the basement The cloakrooms changing rooms and wet rooms are on the ground floor and the outdoor pool catering is on the upper floor The basement is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase from the ground floor and via an access opening at the southeast corner of the building The pools were built in reinforced concrete and lined with ceramic They have a longitudinal or transverse flow and an overflow channel In principle all materials used in the project must be suitable and approved for use in a public swimming pool As part of the general renovation of the Landsberg am Lech island swimming pool the following construction measures are planned in the four planned construction stages Construction stage 1 Expansion of the basement for the bathing water technology and the heating center Construction stage 2a - Demolition of the existing bathing water technology on-site service - New construction of a bathing water treatment system up to the external piping interface - Renewal of the external piping to the pools - Renewal of 50 m pool - Renewal of wave pools - New construction of non-swimmer pools Construction stage 2b - Renewal of diving pools - Renewal of children s pools - Renewal of slides Construction stage 3 - Demolition of the existing building on the ground and upper floors and construction of a new infrastructure building Only sealing and plumbing work is requested for this tender Essentially the following services must be provided Execution of new building connections to windows etc Implementation of an inverted roof on the lifeguard bases Execution of the necessary plumbing work attic base Sealing existing basement walls and ceilings Installation of roof drains bushings and other sealing work Execution time 12 2025 to 05 2026.
