The tender was published by Second German television on 08 Oct 2025 for Rv dual ingest systems from the manufacturer evs in the as area In the years 2026 to 2028 the ZDF plans to replace the replacement of 20 to 40 largely automated dual-egg systems in the local self-sufficient production environments at various locations outside the Mainz broadcast and the City Council in Berlin The result of this tender is the conclusion of a framework agreement with a framework contract partner for a duration of 36 months from the surcharge for the delivery of up to 40 identical dual-engine systems at binding fixed prices The device purchase price includes 12 months hardware maintenance and software care The ZDF assigns the binding acceptance of 20 dual-engine systems In addition to the aforementioned minimum acceptance there is no acceptance obligation for the ZDF The 20 dual-engine systems are called up at short notice after the framework agreement has been completed The individual systems are delivered successively after a written request by the ZDF field to the delivery times guaranteed in the offer In addition a hardware maintenance and software maintenance contract in accordance with service description for the delivered dual-engine systems is concluded as part of this procedure Commissioning the first system defines the start of the maintenance time From the time of commissioning the respective system the dual-engine systems will be under maintenance at least until 31 12 2029 whereby the first 12 months maintenance maintenance are compensated with the device purchase price Since the individual systems are gradually put into operation each additional system has a correspondingly reduced maintenance term The maintenance care ends uniformly for all systems taken on on December 31 2029 The ZDF has to extend the one-sided options the hardware maintenance software maintenance twice by 12 months to the bindingly offered conditions during the term of the maintenance care contract for a variable number of dual-insert systems The ZDF reserves the right to test the devices functionalities offered as part of an evaluation installation test position at a location within the Federal Republic of Germany at the expense of the bidder for 2 calendar weeks This test position must be carried out within 2 calendar weeks at the request of the bidder.
