Tender Summary

The Saabbrücken Clinic gGmbH in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for With 603 beds, Klinikum Saarbrücken gGmbH is the second largest hospital in Saarland, according to the current state hospital plan. Solely owned by the state capital, Saarbrücken, the hospital, as a large municipal hospital, is one of the essential pillars for ensuring healthcare in the state. This has been impressively demonstrated on several occasions in light of the crises of recent years (including its role as a Level I COVID-19 treatment center, cross-border emergency care, and the admission of Ukrainian war casualties). In view of the upcoming challenges in the context of geopolitical crises, the state government plans to assign Klinikum Saarbrücken a central role in civil-military cooperation, including as a supraregional trauma center. This is further supported by the interdisciplinary focus on specialized centers, which has been consistently pursued for several years. These centers include, among others: - Level 1 Perinatal Center - Neurovascular Center - Supraregional Trauma Center (and authorized to treat severely injured patients under the German Statutory Accident Insurance) - Cardiac Arrest Center with an affiliated Chest Pain Unit - Visceral Oncology Center (German Cancer Society). The hospital is also an academic teaching hospital of the medical faculty of Saarland University.
