1. Project Context: The investigations serve to assess the conservation status of FFH habitat types and to fulfill the monitoring obligations under Articles 11 and 17 of the Habitats Directive. The data collected will form part of the Member States' regular FFH reporting obligations to the EU for the current reporting period from 2025 to 2030. 2. Scope of Services and Division into Lots: The services include repeat investigations and, in some cases, the initial assessment of the conservation status of selected FFH habitat types according to state and federal criteria. The occurrences are located within the area of defined study plots (SP) in the state of Saxony-Anhalt: Lot 1 – 91T0 • 91T0 Central European lichen-pine forests - 6 study plots Lot 2 – 9190 • 9190 Old acidic oak forests on sandy plains - 10 study plots The lot-specific methodological requirements for processing, including the required sub-services and work steps, are provided as Appendices A and B at the end of this specification. The location and extent of the individual study plots are included as digital geodata in the tender documents. For data protection reasons, the contracting authority is initially refraining from providing detailed information on the content of the individual study plots. Potential bidders can obtain the relevant information upon request. The tasks listed in the appendices are an integral part of the specification and must be completed in full.
