The GCT lncubator Berlin GmbH in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for Die Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Charitéplatz 1, 10117 Berlin writes on behalf of Gene and Cell Therapies Incubator Berlin GmbH (GCT) the construction of the Berlin Center for Gene and Cell Therapy. With the aforementioned project, a modern new building with laboratory and office spaces as well as GMP areas for approximately 720 employees will be created at the southernmost part of the existing Bayer Campus (Sellerstraße). The entire building consists of four usage areas: IQ Spaces Expansion, Co-Lab, Incubator, and GMP Facility. The Incubator area and the GMP production facility form the Translation Center. The laboratory and office spaces in the Incubator area, which are flexibly usable, will primarily be used by business founders (start-ups) that are particularly focused on research and development of cell and gene therapies. Room program: Laboratories, Offices, GMP Area, Lobby, Café/Bistro, Logistics/Warehouse. In total, approximately 5,700 m² of laboratory spaces with attached office spaces will be built, distributed across floors 3 to 9. The laboratories will be prepared for use according to S2 (BioStoffV, GenTSV). The tendered services include exclusively construction works for the GCT-Incubator sub-project of floors 3-5. The following system partition walls are being tendered: approximately 165 m² glass system partition wall, F0, Rw 37dB; approximately 35 m² glass system partition wall, F30, Rw 32dB; approximately 85 m² glass system partition wall, F0, without sound protection requirements; approximately 26 ETW doors, MRG, Rw 37dB; approximately 34 ETW doors, full glass doors, no requirements.
