The Job center Cologne in Germany from Europe region has released this tender for The Cologne Job Center secures the livelihood of approximately 120,000 people based on the German Social Code, Book II (SGB II). We support benefit recipients in their career orientation and create opportunities, providing guidance and support on their path to training and employment. Our approximately 1,600 employees offer, among other things, targeted services for young people, people with disabilities, and people with a refugee background. In 2027, the Cologne Job Center, currently comprising eight business units plus a central department, will relocate to two sites, one on each side of the Rhine. The Cologne Job Center plans to relocate its two paper file archives to the following two locations in the second and third quarters of 2027: I. Galerie Wiener Platz, Wiener Platz 3, 51065 Cologne (relocation date: May 31, 2027) and II. Pohligstraße 3, 50969 Cologne (relocation date: October 31, 2027). A qualified service provider is sought for the preparation and execution of the physical transfer of the archive units, as well as for the ongoing operational services of the archive. The scope of the contract comprises six components: 1. Transport/Relocation: Transfer and transport of the archive units, as well as their registration and initial storage in the service provider's archive – see section 7.1.12 of the service description (Tender Document C – Service Description for Records Management) regarding the dates for the initial transfer; 2. Storage: Safekeeping of the archive units and data management; 3. Ongoing Access: Provision of archive material upon request and its return to storage; 4. Ongoing Transfer: Transfer of new archive units by the service provider; 5. Destruction: After the retention period has expired or upon separate disposal; 6. Handover at Contract End: Provision and removal of the archive units from the archive after the contract term has ended.
